Course 1: PHOTOGRAPHY 101
-
Module 1: Introduction
Every great photographer started by learning to see. In this opening module, you'll get hands-on with your camera, demystify the buttons and dials, and discover how light shapes every image you'll ever take. Whether you're holding a DSLR or a smartphone, this is where your photographic journey begins.
-
Module 2: The Exposure Triangle
Understand the essential gear—from your smartphone to your mirrorless camera—and learn how to master what you already own.
-
Module 3: Framing & Composition
A sharp photo can still be a boring photo. Composition is what transforms a snapshot into a story. You'll learn to use leading lines, depth, negative space, and the Rule of Thirds to craft images that naturally draw the eye — and hold it there.
-
Module 4: Storytelling through Technique
Great photography doesn't just document — it communicates. In this module, you'll learn to use light, motion, and color as expressive tools to convey mood, emotion, and narrative. By the end, your images won't just look good. They'll mean something.
-
Module 5: Scope of Photography
Photography encompasses an extraordinary range of genres and specialties. This final module introduces you to 4 major photographic disciplines: Portrait, Landscape, Street, and Niche Photography. We equip you to explore the genre(s) that resonate most with your creative vision.

Course 2: VIDEOGRAPHY 101
-
Module 1: Introduction
From the moment you press record, dozens of decisions are already made for you — unless you know how to make them yourself. You'll take full manual control of your camera, master the 180-degree shutter rule, capture clean audio in any environment, and build the disciplined on-set habits every professional relies on.
-
Module 2: Camera Movement & Stabilization
A camera that never moves is wasting half its vocabulary. This module teaches every tool in the cinematographer's movement kit — from the locked-off tripod shot through handheld technique, gimbal operation, sliders, and drone cinematography. By the end, every move you make will be intentional, controlled, and motivated by the story you're telling.
-
Module 3: Lighting
Great lighting is invisible — the audience feels it without seeing it. You'll learn to shape natural and artificial light, build a broadcast-quality three-point setup from scratch, and use colour temperature, gels, and practicals to create a specific mood in any space. This is the module that separates videographers from filmmakers.
-
Module 4: Composition & Visual Storytelling
A technically perfect shot with no compositional intent is just a well-exposed blur. This module takes you from framing fundamentals through full scene coverage, continuity rules, and the editorial grammar that makes sequences feel seamless — so the editor always has exactly what they need.
-
Module 5: Post Production & Editing
Filmmaking happens twice: once on set, once in the edit suite. You'll take raw footage through media management, assembly cut, colour grade, audio mix, and final export in a single complete workflow — delivering a polished, platform-ready film that looks and sounds exactly the way you intended.

Chapter 3: FILMMAKING
-
Lesson 1: Film Roles and Responsibilities
Every great film is an act of collective intention. Before you pick up a camera, you need to know where you stand on set and why it matters.
In this module, you'll map the full landscape of a film production, from the director's vision to the grip's grip. Understanding roles isn't just logistics, it's learning how to serve the story, and the people telling it.
-
Lesson 2: History of Film
You cannot know where you're going without knowing where film has been. From the silent flickers of the Lumière brothers to the golden age of Hollywood, Bollywood, and the untold contributions of Muslim and Global South filmmakers the mainstream forgot - this module roots your craft in context.
History isn't just the past; it's the language your images speak.
-
Module 3: Film Directing 101
The director doesn't just call "action"; they carry the soul of the film. This module introduces you to the language of directing: how to communicate your vision, work with actors, frame emotion, and make a hundred decisions a day with confidence and clarity.
Whether you're leading a full crew or a two-person shoot, great directing begins with knowing exactly what story you're trying to tell and why.
-
Module 4: Film Producing 101
Behind every powerful story is someone who made it possible. The producer is the architect of a production, balancing vision with reality, creativity with budgets, and deadlines with dignity.
In this module, you'll learn how to develop a project from concept to screen, manage resources without losing your mind, and build the kind of professional reputation that brings people back to work with you again and again.
-
Module 5: The Indie Film Hustler
No studio. No gatekeepers. No permission needed.
This module is for the filmmaker who refuses to wait, who understands that a phone, a story, and relentless resourcefulness can move mountains.
We'll cover funding strategies, grassroots distribution, building your audience before your film is finished, and how to turn a limited budget into a limitless creative vision.
The ummah needs your stories. This is how you get them made.
